VICE
The year is 2095. Those who still inhabit Earth live in increasingly divergent realities–some in the deteriorating environment of the analog world, but most in the programmed sensory escape provided by the tech conglomerate Joyview. As national governments become failed states, profit seeking tech giants and power hungry politicians form a consolidated government–the United World Federation. As conflict escalates between these divergent realities, loving families turned revolutionaries are forced to ask themselves: How can you fight to survive when you have been programmed out of existence? How can you reach someone whose vice is a reality where you do not exist?
A 2021 Hollywood Fringe Scholarship winner, Vice is Centrifuge Arts production developed with the support of Level Ground.
